London: Methuen And Co, 1926. Jacket has some moderate to heavy wear- open and closed tears to head and foot, small half inch patch of loss to head of spine. A little rubbed and chipped to edges, has some mild damp damage to rear edge. PDs clean, some slight markings to flyleaf (is if someone has perhaps smudged a light tan mark) otherwise fep/rep very clean. Closed tear to head of first illus verso chapter 1 (2"). PP and illustrations are in excellent condition, binding remains tight and clean. Head of closed edges are gilt. A scarce copy with DJ.. First Edition. Hard. Good/Good Minus. 8vo.
