London: St Martins, 1969 Annual Anthology Of Short Stories, This One Being Published In 1969. It Is Particularly Notable Because It Contains The First Appearance In Book Form Of A Story By Sylvia Plath And Another By Bernard Malamud (Both Of Which Appeared Previously In The Atlantic Monthly). There Are Stories Also By Margaret Laurence And Alan Sillitoe And Others. There Is A Notation By The Editor "Reading The Late Sylvia Plath's "Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams" It Is Impossible Not To Mourn The Loss Of This Young And Brilliant Writer. Other Stories Of Hers Will Be Appearing In Penguin Shortly." This Volume Has No Dust Jacket. There Is Some Slight Soiling To Front Board And A Bookplate Glued To Ffep, But No Writing On It. No Other Marks Or Writing. The Binding And Corners Are In Very Good Condition, Pages Are Clean.
