Three dissatisfied women in Eastwick, Rhode Island lament over their misfortunes with men and unknowingly form a coven of witches which eventually summons a man into their presence. The mysterious man shows up randomly one day and buys the largest mansion in town and begins courting all three women. It is soon revealed that this man is a demon and the three women are witches, who use this new found witchcraft to drive him from town. Nominated for two Academy Awards.
