The title of this work has been alternately translated as "In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower". Consists of sections: Madame Swann at Home, Place-Names: The Place, and Seascape, with Frieze of Girls. Translated from the French by C. K. Scott Moncrieff. --- This 1924 U.K. edition may well be a first U.K. edition (publisher Chatto & Windus did not differentiate between firsts and later printings). In blue cloth-covered boards w/gilt-stamped titling; faded blue topstain.
