New York: Little Brown and Company, 1934. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First US edition hardback in original dustjacket , states published May 1934 on verso title page and dated 1934 bottom title page , black boards with orange titles to spine and front , no inscriptions , has a contemporary stamp to front endpaper of the Maison Henriette circulation library but has no other markings at all to show it was actually used as a library book , no spine lean , no tears to pages , corners are sharp with minor wear , spine tips are pushed with minor wear , back bottom edge rubbed, usual page toning with age , no foxing , in original near fine jacket that is not price-clipped showing $2.00 on flap , no wear or tears , just a crease down spine from being folded, a scarce title in original jacket , not a remainder , not an ex-library copy. All orders are sent in quality inert removable dust jacket plastic, bubble-wrapped and in a strong box. We are a full time Independent bookseller established in 1999..
