Woman with Seascape

by Stewart, Terrill E

Condition: Very Good

Oshawa: Septimus, 1978. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo. Soft cover. 157 p.p. Light age toning to edges, minor wear to joints, a few creases to covers. Woman with Seascape is the story of two sisters. At the beginning, one of them is dead, drowned in the waters of the Atlantic. From this point the story unravels to reveal the women at different stages in their lives, both before World War II and after. Laura and Nell, so different in character and temperament, are women of intense individuality. One is a cynic while the other is a romantic. One survives the rituals of living while the other succumbs.
