Description:
First edition first printing of the third novel by Pierrette Pernot under this pen name. There is a 1/2 inch deep by 1/2 inch wide V chuck missing from the bottom edge of the dustjacket's front panel. There is a shadow of the moisture stain on the front panel of the dustjacket and three spots of stains on the rear panel. Not price clipped but no price meaning this copy was printed for the Canadian market. In very good / good condition.

First English translated edition first printing of this novel by Pierrette Pernot under this pen name. Made into the 1964 movie of the same name starring Gina Lollobrigida and Sean Connery. There is a 1/4 closed tear to the head of the dustjacket's spine front corner. There is a light 1/2 inch long moisture stain on the rear inside advertising flap at the top edge of the fold. No price but not clipped which means it was meant for the Canadian market. In very good / very good condition.
