Reprints of four records of women's travels in Western America of the 19th century: Leslie, California; Farnham, California In-Doors and Life in Prairie Land; and Fuller, Summer on the Lakes in 1843. Four volumes, in various cloth colors, 12mos; overall vg (spines lightly faded; spine ends bumped and rubbed; front corners of California bumped; scratching to rear board and spot to spine of Summer on the Lakes) in poor cardboard slipcase (heavily torn; scraped; prev. owner used masking tape to cover tears; some masking tape left, residue and discoloration from lost tape); prospectus for the set laid in, a trifold panphlet rumpled and folded in half.
