Yale now has the largest collection of documented Federal-period card tables in any public institution." With a three-page preface by Benjamin Hewitt, essays by Gerald W. R. Ward, Patricia E. Kane, and Hewitt. The annotated and illustrated catalogue presents 56 tables and all kinds of mathematical regional frequency charts. Very informative and authoritative book on the American card table. A wonderful copy. Who knew?
