New York: Brentano's, 1907. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 392pp. Red hardcover, gilt design to cover and spine, top edges gilt. FIRST EDITION. Spine faded and missing small piece at top of spine, a chip at midpoint and wear at bottom, covers still bright, faint spot to top edges, hinges tender but binding is tight. Frontispiece and half-title page loose but holding, contents are lightly age-toned. Illustrations of over 500 works by Rembrandt arranged chronologically.
