The Works of Flavius Josephus, containing twenty books of the Jewish Antiquities, Seven Books of the Jewish War, and the Life of Josephus. Together with explanatory notes and observations by William Whiston from the last London edition of 1827. Leather board with title in gold on black on the spine of each volume. Both volumes are generally tight. Aging, wear, and rubbing to the covers and their edges. Foxing and yellowing of pages. Slight but noticeable water stains.
