Light marking to covers, top page edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Light foxing to page edges and endpapers, occasional spotting to text. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper of each volume: Nancy Margaret Paul (the daughter of publisher Charles Kegan Paul). Volume III is signed by Leila Rendel (the niece of Nancy Paul). Rendel was a renowned children's campaigner who co-founded the Caldecott Community for Vulnerable Children (not known as the Caldecott Foundation). A nice solid set with interesting association. . Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 5.75 x 8.5 inches (14 x 21 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: 228, viii
