Brown leather with gilt titling on red and black spine labels, raised bands and gilt decoration, simple gilt border front and back, red speckled text block edges, black and white frontispiece, black and white engravings in text, 301 pages. Front board has been re-attached with Japanese paper by Meadland Bindery. Corners are bumped, corners, spine ends and edges have significant wear, less wear to edges, there is a rubbed spot on upper front board near spine otherwise boards are clean, vertical creases/rubbing of spine, much of the gilt is unclear, spine is sunned, text block edges darkened, end papers foxed, school crest and stamps on end papers, pencil notation on end paper, name on title page, some pencil underlining in text, occasional foxing spots in text. This is an attractive book, the boards are a pleasing colour. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
