Marbled edges and end papers. Printed on quality paper. Large font. Wide margins. Red and black title pages. Engraved frontis protected in tissue. Large font. Well laid out. 8.75 inches tall. 6.5 inches deep. These take up 26.5 inches of shelf space. VERY GOOD condition. The leather is supple and fresh. All the hinges are strongly attached. There is some starting. Internally very fresh, bright, and clean. Appears free of foxing. No previous signs of ownership. Some general shelf wear, rubs / scuffs, small chip at base of volume 2 and 5.
