With 64 b/w images of pictures of shakespearian scenes done by well known artists including Hamilton and Northcote, drawn from the Boydell Gallery. All edges gilt. With Thumb index with play titles to spine. (later) Marbled end-papers. Tissue guarded frontisportrait. Raised bands to spine. Printed in double columns. 8vo. Some rubbing to leather. Previous owner's inscription to half-title. Some offsetting to front matter but contents clean and binding tight. Good/very good.
