New York: Macmillan Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1946. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Black cloth cover with gilt lettering and red decoration on front and spine has very minimal wear and is clean. Binding sound. There is a partial bookplate of a previous owner on front pastedown along with some erased writing. Front free endpaper has previous owner's name. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Top edge of text block tinted navy blue, fore edge has light speckled foxing. Lacking DJ. ; Maps; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 559 pages .
