Very Fine/Very Fine. 8vo, light green cloth with silver lettering on spine, 21 B&W illustrations and 2 maps, Mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket (unclipped) depicting a Spanish galleon, map endpapers, 260 pages. In 1641, as the Almiranta, or Vice-Admiral's treasure ship, the Nuestra Senora de la Comcepcion sank off the northern coast of Hispaniola (the Domenican Republic) loaded with bullion, silver coin, and jewels. Exceptional condition!
