Autobiographical book of Shepard childhood, later famous for his children illustration in particular books by AA Milne. A fine book in excellent condition. Internally clean with clean boards and clear red top stain. VG+ or better dust jacket. Some minor edgewear and some very small chips. Now in a protective cover, unclipped. An exceptional copy in collectors condition, the 2nd of Shepard's bibliographical works following on Drawn from Memory. Many of Shepard's drawings adorn the pages. A very fine book, small smudge at the bottom edge. Internally book is pristine (as new) with no marks internally. Tight binding and seems unread. Clear red top stain. Two pages with minor blemishes but overall a bright and clean copy in the original colour printed dustwrapper, which reproduces the board illustrations and lettering. Some minor bumping to the board edges.
