Leonard Cyril Deighton (born 18 February 1929, Marylebone, London) is a British military historian, cookery writer, and novelist. He is perhaps most famous for his spy novel The IPCRESS File, which was made into a film starring Michael Caine. First Edition. Condition: In a cloth binding with original dustwrapper. Externally, in excellent condition with just some bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound, very bright and clean throughout. The dustwrapper is in lovely condition and covered by a protective plastic wrap. Overall Condition: FINE with an AS NEW dustwrapper..
