by Whorter, Alexander Mac

Condition: See description

Gould and Lincoln, Boston, 1857, (1856) First edition, First Printing with the A8 on the bottom of the first text page and 1857 on the title page. 179 pages + 12 pages of advertising. NOTE: This an unworn clean example in about Fine condition. Nearly no markings of foreign (pencil/pen, dog-ears, etc...) or natural (foxing, paper age browning, etc...) nature. Aside from 2 tiny spots of less than 1/8", right edge of preface & contents pages and a light bit of type transfer to the front and rear blanks, it remains in as-printed condition. The binding is tight as if unread, spine ends, cover edges & corners are sharp and clean. Red pege edges are clean and bright, though ever so lightly faded on the foredge. A collectors example of the highest quality. Quite uncommon, especially in this condition.. Archival Bagged for Posterity.
