Very good, clean condition. This series issued by the U.S. Government is notable for the beautiful color lithographs with which they were illustrated. Includes sections on Promising New Fruits, Insects Injurious to the Onion Crop, Seed Collection on a Large Scale, Some New Grasses for the South, etc. With color plates of apples, pear, strawberry, persimmon, avocado, pecans (and one of chestnut bark canker). .
