Yellow cloth, dark green title to spine. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, spine very slightly grubby. There is a small patch to the front cover where a compass has been used to pierece the cloth, the indentations from this go through the prelims of the contents. Name and address in biro to front free-endpaper. Foxing to textblock which is also slightly grubby. Rear page is browned.
