About This Item
London: Herbert Jenkins. Hard Cover. (London: Herbert Jenkins circa 1931). A bibliomystery involving a wealthy American book collector( bearing an uncanny resemblance to A.S.W. Rosenbach) on a trip to England encounters murder. Published by Herbert Jenkins in London. An undated 'third printing' of the 1930 first edition from about 1931. The cloth remains very bright and the pages remain clean. The spine tips are a little bumped and there is a tear to the surface of the cloth at the head of the spine. The front pastedown has a small ink stamp and an illustrated book-plate from the book's previous owner who has also written his name and the date on the title page. Otherwise the pages are clean throughout. No D/W. Photographs/scans available upon request.
