London: Riverrun, 2016. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR. Publisher's black boards with silver spine lettering. A fine copy in like D/W. Inscribed by the Author on the title page: "To Pete/ MOT/ Anthony Clavane". The book was signed at the Headingly Library in Leeds (at the Headingly Literary Festival on Wednesday 15 March 2017". A brochure from the Festival is laid inside by way of provenance. At the time of listing there are no signed first edition copies on ABE or ! N.B: the final book in his triptych which began with Promised Land, already considered to be a classic of sports-writing. ISBN: 978-1-84866-512-5. Inexplicably uncommon.
