(no date , 924) dec. cloth, with paste down cover illust. dec. spine, 352 pages, illustrated throughout, colored frontis., wear at edges, corners bumped, old moisture stain at foreedge and bottom edges, The volume has numerous stories contributed by well know writers of the day, each article is well illustrated , the most renowned illustrator is the well known British painter, illustrator and poster artist, Montague B. Black, Black's watercolor art works served as the basis for lithographs for the White Star Line and four British railways. He has contributed five full page illustrations to this volume. (2 railway scenes and 3 ship scenes. Of note, is p333 " The Hydroglisssia" (early air boat on a river in India).
