Bound in gilded pictorial cloth bindings. Thick durable cloth bindings. Top edges are gilded. Printed on thick quality paper. Illustrated with full page color plates, and in text illustrations. 8.25 inches of shelf space. Slightly over 29 inches of shelf space. In excellent condition. Some general shelf rubs and usage wear, but fully intact. The hinges are all 100% fully attached. Spine puncture on volume seventeen, hard to see in the picture unless you look close. Printed on quality paper that is fresh, bright, and clean. An early name. These display beautifully. This set would make an excellent gift and/or addition to any fine library.
