Light foxing to page edges, some yellowing and foxing to pages adjacent to the plates. prize label at front dated Dec., 1914, else fine and bright, an exceptionally nice copy. A volume in the Every Girl's Bookshelf series. 21 titles are listed at front, but not this one, though it is the second of the four titles in the series in the first page of the ads, which makes me believe this is a proper first printing. We have seen a copy with no ads which stated "Second impression" on the title page. Watters p. 385. .
