Exeter, New Hampshire: Ranlet & Norris; Thomas & Tappan, Charles Peirce, George Hilton, 1807. Stated second edition [1807]. Scarce. Worn, unrestored copy in blue-gray paper covered wooden boards with brown sheep leather spine, 167 pages plus on page advertisement. Thirteen pages, including some of Aesop's fables, contain half-page woodcuts, all in good condition. Covers broken with pieces missing, text block holding but with internal cracking, chips to bottom of first several pages, affecting the lower inner corner of text on a few spelling tables, a few additional pages with some loss of text at the outer edges, a few pages with closed tears, pages age-toned with some finger smudging, front free endpaper absent, names and other notes on endpapers.. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
