I purchased this book because my original copy(bought many years ago)disappeared . My very first attempt at a garden was planted using this book. Not knowing much about companion planting, I harvested my herbs and the next day the rest of my crop was besieged with bugs. I was a convert.I plan my successful garden each year following the directions in this book. I highly recommend Carrots Love Tomatoes.

This was a book I had many years ago when I belonged to the Cookbook Collector's Library Club. I lent it to someone and it wasn't returned. I'm so glad to have another copy. Although the premise of a woman putting so much of her waking time and energies into focusing on domestically pleasing her husband is antiquated (probably also a blatantly false stereotype), many of the recipes are extremely good and very easy to prepare. Baked cottage pudding is one of my very favorites.

The Detox Solution

This book, which was recommended to me by one of my clients, has saved my life, or at least my sanity. I have had hives for over nine months, have spent lots of money on doctors, prescriptions, and OTC meds - most with very little results. An adjustment in my thyroid meds did make a positive difference, but only reduced, yet did not eliminate the hives. I am now only into my fourth week of going through the detoxing process and have had tremendous results. Not only are the hives going away, but my overall energy is greater, I feel less stressed and more balanced. I intend to NEVER go back to the way I was living before, as the results of following Fitzgerald's advice has been dramatic.
