Plates [7] including two folding, plus a folding coloured map opposite the title page. Plates bound out of sequence. Contents generally clean and bright, few pages creased at the top outer corners. Original green cloth backed boards rubbed and a trifle soiled, corners bumped, spine very slightly frayed at the head and toe, black endpapers. COPAC (on - line 10/07) locates two copies, Cambridge and Nottingham, with the same pagination as the one offered here, and suggests the date of publication as [1876]. .
