Sepia frontispiece on glossy stock. This book has no imprimatur. Francis J. Finn, (1859 - 1928) was an American priest who also wrote more than two dozen young adult novels. Reverend Finn was ordained in 1891, the same year as this book was published. Spine and top are darkened, name on fep, tanned margins on either side of front cover and some rubbing and light soil to covers; spine is slightly cocked. The bottom of page 9 and top of page 15 have some light soil to top margin, several other pages have fingermarks in the margins, to be expected from a 100+ year old children's book.
