Undated biography of the Quaker poet and abolitionist, John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892). 108pp with black and white portrait to frontis. Gilt lettering to spine. Some bumping to spine and corners, fading to edges and left hinge starting to show, otherwise good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ quite rubbed and edgeworn with tears and some loss to top and bottom of spine..
