There's wear to the cover and edges. The boards are showing in the corners of the cover. There are several tears at the top and bottom of the spine. The pages show reader wear. The gold edges of the pages are still vibrant, with a few dull spots at the corners. The pages appear to be unmarked. They may have some water staining. There are a few cracks in the spine throughout the book. The binding is a little lose, but the pages are all secure. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
