About This Item

Bennington College, 1968. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Signd and inscribed by contributor Carol Rubenstein to noted American poet Denise Levertov: '14 Sept. 1968 For Denise, whose work I much admire, some of my own - Carol Rubenstein p. 25.' Very good copy in the original purple wraps (light wear). Much of the text in unopened. There is a pencil mark at the opening of the Rilke section, presumably by Levertov (a passionate Rilke fan). Includes work by Bulat Okudzhava, Carol Rubenstein, and an insert of a new translation of Rainer Maria Rilke by Howard Nemerov and Felix Pollak.
