Kristiania: H. Aschehoug & Co., 1923. Half Leather. Good+. Written in Norwegian. Two volumes. Tan leather spines and corners, gilt titling, raised bands, marbled boards, decorated coloured title page, frontispiece is sepia portrait of author with tissue-guard, each book has an illuminated first letter, 313 and 306 pages. Corners and spine ends have wear, spines rubbed and lightly sunned, owner's signature stamp on front endpapers, foxing on end papers, volume II has pale stain on leading text block edge, pages 183-186 of volume II have lengthwise crease. These are handsome books. Set is overweight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
