Numerous black and white illustrations are also included with the text. In addition, pp. 825-838 are printed on gloss paper and contain black and white photos and illustrations depicting muscular development and exercise; pp. 881-912 offer simple color illustrations (on rectos) of medicinal plants, followed by a 10 unnumbered glossy page section (titled "Herbs, Roots and Plants Valuable in Medicine") with 9 black and white illustrations; p. 1012 is followed by 8 unnumbered glossy pages with black and white human body outline diagrams for quick diagnosis.
