New York: Macmillan, 1902. Hardcover. Very Good. Vol. 1- 422 pages. Vol. 2- 316 pages. 6 1/4 x 9 in. Blue cloth binding, gilt lettering on spine, top edge of text block gilt. Condition of each volume is VERY GOOD: light wear to covers and spines, spines lightly darkened, edges of text block lightly yellowed, pages clean, each volume with book plate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover, inscription in ink on second ffep., bindings tight. Vol. 1 has several soot stains to end papers, though does not at all smell smoky or are there stains to edges of text block.
