About This Item

United Kingdom: Skeffington. Fair in Fair dust jacket. 1949. Hardcover. SOLD AS A READING COPY ONLY - A good but externally unattractive hardcover in a poor unclipped dustwrapper. The book is in black boards with some fading to the outer edges probably due to some exposure to moisture bumped/rubbed to the spine ends and corners, internally good with a previous owner's name inked on the front endpaper, unmarked pages a little tanned and quite foxed to the upper text-block edge. The dustwrapper is complete but cello tape has been applied to the top and bottom margins which has come away from the front panel leaving rubbing and discolouration, it is rubbed/quite creased to the edges and rubbed down the centre of the spine - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland.; 60x40; 159 pages .
