Illustrated dustwrapper with orange and yellow coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. The death of the French left-wing writer, Frederic Legrand, has shocked the French literary world. Among a Paris psychiatrists' papers is a dossier on Frederic, and the contents of that dossier is the subject of this book.... Softening of the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Browning of the textblock edges and pages. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing and signing also present. Staining to the verso of the dustwrapper, lower edge. First English Translation.
