New York: Doubleday, 1991. First edition, as stated. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. 215 pages with index, illustrated with black and white and color plates and drawings. A rambling anthology that flits like a butterfly from science to art and back. Brown quarter cloth over brown boards with gilt titles on spine, red end papers. Titles bright, light spotting of cover, minor edge wear with light bumping of corners and spine ends, a little spotting of end papers, interior pages bright and clean, binding tight. Mylar covered tan illustrated dust jacket with brown titles on front cover and spine shows very light edge wear, slight fading at spine, spotting that may mostly be on mylar cover, not price clipped.

Measures 7 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches.
