This investigation was one of a series initiatied by Financial Brangh, G-5, USFET and the Finance Division, United States Group Control Council with respect to the international asset position of Germany. A basic purpose of this investigation was to uncover the nature and location of the far-flung and carefully concealed external assets of I. G. Farben.
