Leipzig: Leipzig: Poeschel & Trepte, 1914. First printing, limited edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 53 pages. Tan boards with embossed gold design on front cover, tipped-in frontis photo of Eugen. One of an edition of 100 copies. This is a posthumous collection of poems published three years after Eugen von Kahler's death in 1911, as a remembrance by his friends. (Eugen's cousin was writer Erich von Kahler). On the page after the title page is printed the word "fur", in this copy it is followed in pen by, "Efraim und Fega Frisch" who were writers and editors (Neue Merkur etc). also, in this copy the poem on Page 15 has had a typo corrected in ink- the name has been changed to 'Miriam' in every instance, including the table of contents at rear. Eugen was best known as a painter (posthumously exhibited in the Blaue Reiter show).
