Boston: Ticknor and Company, 1887. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Houghton Mifflin & Co. appears on the spine as publisher. Their imprint, Ticknor and Company, appears on the title page as publisher. No additional printings indicated. Minor wear and bumping to the spine ends and corners. Light spotting to bottom edge. Top edge gilt. Contemporary ownership name in pencil on the blank page following the front endpapers (Amasa Howard 1889) and also on the title page (name without date). Dr. Amasa Howard was a Dartmouth Medical School graduate and lived in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. 258 pages with Appendix.
