Housed in a bespoke half morocco solander case. Inscribed by Roald Dahl in black ink on the front free endpaper "Johanna / Love / Roald Dahl". Provenance: Private UK collection (Signed by the author for the recipient in person at Waterstones bookshop in Bath, 1988). Internally bright, crisp and clean. Inscribed and signed by the author: 'To Olivia, with lots of love Roald Dahl 24 May 1988'. In a near fine unclipped wrapper with a little bumping to the corners. To add to the poignancy of the inscription, Dahl's eldest daughter, who died of measles in 1962, was also called Olivia.
