Lion 99, 1952. This is the classic Jim Thompson title and perhaps the classic title of the last 50 years. This paperback original was published by Lion Books and has been reprinted many times since. as well as made into a minor movie. The book in nice, square, with very minor wear on covers. A very presentable copy. Only one minor crease (more a slight flat bend) on the front cover, barely noticable. The rear lower corner is bumped and chipped an 1/8 on an inch. (goes in for 10 pages or so). Uncreased flat spine. This book is very uncommon in this nice a condition. I try to accurately grade this tough book, and I have seen only a couple of copies that are as nice as this over the past 10 years.. First Edition, Paperback Original. Mass Market Paperback.
