Very Good-. chromoliths [34] all but frontis. signed in the plate by Louis Wain. lg.8vo [245 x 172mm] olive-green cloth spined boards with large color onlay to cover [edges & corners worn/sl.rubbed] Line illustrated front end papers [bit scratched] + frontispiece both with full page full color illustrations + titlepage in red and black with full colour kitten pulling daddy cat's hair + 31 large illustrations with mainly 3 to 4 line text to upper margin + repeat of front endpaper [bit creased]. Total color illustrations thus 35 including the onlay to the cover. One corner torn off but not touching any illustration. The endpapers are slightly browned but there are are no other marks, no edge tears except for the sliver of corner loss mentioned, no dirty finger marks etc.
