MCA Music Corporation Of America, NY, . Circa 1945 MCA Records 8" x 10" glossy publicity photograph of "The Three Suns," popular musical trio formed in 1939 by brothers Al and Morty Nevins and cousin Artie Dunn. The Three Suns wrote and scored their first big number "Twilight Time" in 1944, at the time a purely instrumental track. Later, legendary songwriter and producer Buck Ram wrote lyrics for the tune and made it into a huge Platters hit, selling over 4 million copies and winning a Gold Record. The Suns brought suit for copyright infringement but lost, succeeding only in having their names added to the writing credits. The photo is inscribed and signed to "The Bachelors," a popular trio of the day formed by Ralph Wolf in 1944. Knickerbocker Music Co., NY, 1950; Four-page sheet music for the popular song "Sentimental Me," written by Jim Morehead and Jimmy Cassin in 1950 and recorded by the Ames Brothers. The song was later covered by the Mills Brothers and still later by Elvis Presley. Morehead and Cassin are well known for the 1940’s Mills Brothers’ hits "Ragmop," and "Pretty Butterfly." Signed by both songwriters at the top: "Thanks!, Jim Morehead... and thanks again!, Jimmy Cassin." Very Good Plus, two horizontal folds. Clean and bright, no ownership signatures, no chips, no tears, no staining, no record store stamps.

Contrary to the description on the box front, Disc 5 is actually a recording of the Beatles’ 1964 appearance on Alan Freeman’s BBC Pick Of The Pops radio show, containing live on-air repartee with Freeman interspersed with fifteen song performances. Side 1: I Saw Her Standing There, Goin’ To Kansas City, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, You Can’t Do That, Sure To Fall, Can’t Buy Me Love, Matchbox, and Honey Don’t. Sheet Music for the musical hit "Popcorn" by Moog virtuoso Kingsley Gershon, who wrote the song in 1969 after being inspired by the sound he heard being made by a theater popcorn machine. Released on Gershon’s 1969 album "Music To Moog By," it became the first international electronic dance hit. This arrangement recorded by Hot Butter in 1972.
