Overall a fairly nice set - compare at $1200 - $1700 for similar sets! Paris: Buisson, 1787. First octavo edition in French, published the same year as a 2-volume quarto edition. "Sparrman was a Swedish naturalist who accompanied Captain Cook on his second voyage. This work is mainly concerned with his travels and natural history expeditions in South Africa"--Hill, page 279 (1785 edition in English). Beddie 1280 (this edition).
