Based on the Amboseli National Park study, the most successful long-term study of the social structure and behavior of a nonhuman primate in the wild, Altmann's book presents a new, incredibly detailed, and remarkably holistic body of data describing the reproductive strategies of a primate female. Pages are clean (now writing, underlining, or highlighting) but yellowing with age. Binding is tight with no cracks or breaks. Covers are scuffed/sunned. Shelfwear (head/heel of spine bumped, moderate rubbing to extrmities, slight split to lower spine but does not effect binding). This is not a remainder or ex-library. Nice reading copy. .
