The sheet has been folded into six segments, some edgewear and tiny tears, one small hole where the sheet was pinned to a book. This particular copy has 19th century annotations in pencil indicating the prices of the respective machine models and an address in Bristol, CT (possibly where the machinery might be purchased). Rosslyn, VA: Marriott Key Bridge. Near Fine. 1960s. Ephemera. Bright pink folded menu from the Chaparall Spanish themed restaurant in the Key Bridge Marriott, Rosslyn Virginia from the 1960s. Bright and fresh with illustrations of flamenco dancers. Items include Icelandic Matjes Herring with Capers, Escargot de Bourgogne (1.95), Gazpacho Andalusian, Sopa de Habichuelas Negras con Jerez, Plato Sevillano Seafood Platter (4.95), Roast Duck Valenciana, Veal Cordoba (5.50), Prime Rib of Beef, various steaks, various vegetables, etc. On the top floor of the Marriott Key Bridge, the Chaparral Restaurant, boasted sweeping views of Gerogretown and Washington, DC bordering the Potomac River. The Key Bridge Marriott, just across the river from Georgetown, first opened as a motor lodge in 1959. It was the second ever Marriott hotel to open, and was the oldest operating Marriott hotel before its closure in July 2021. .

Printed in blue at top "Caledonian Hotel, / Inverness" folowed by "Menu" printed in red. On rear panel "Wisdon of the People" with eleven bits of popular lore, e.g., "Any wind will suit a man who prefers to drift." Tiny closed tear at left edge, ink a bit faded, otherwise very good condition. The Caledonian Hotel was built in 1780 as a meeting place for members of the St John's Masonic Lodge. The size is 7 ½ x 9 ½" which opens to double size with twelve month calendars at bottom and twelve illustrations at tops. Printed for "The Beach Shop" and "The Beach Market" in Sarasota, Florida. Twelve "American Beauties" created by Siesta Key Artist Gil Elvgren. The themed beauties include a cowgirl, Gillette Elvgren (1914 – 1980) was an American painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration. Best known for his pin-up paintings for Brown & Bigelow, Elvgren studied at the American Academy of Art. He was strongly influenced by the early "pretty girl" illustrators, such as Charles Dana Gibson, Andrew Loomis, and Howard Chandler Christy. Other influences included the Brandywine School founded by Howard Pyle. .

There is a photograph of theexterior of the hotel on the first panel and an array of six interior photographs across the three panels when opened fully. There is also a map showing the hotel's location with respect to various travel routes. The brochure proudly displays the AAA symbol indicating the Hotel is an approved member of the American Automobile Association - THE stamp of approval in the mid 20th century for travelers. The brochure highlights its Air Conditioned Mayfair Restaurant and Coffee Shop. Published as a promotional booklet for customers, and potential customers of Brodie's, Inc. The company grew and expanded in the Northwest with branches in Seattle, Spokane, Portland and Juneau.
